Nepal Participates in World Climbing Asia Championships 2026 in Meishan, China

A proud moment for Nepal sport climbing as National Champion Ms. Swastika Chaudhary carried the national flag during the Opening Ceremony of the IFSC Asian Climbing Championships 2026, held in Meishan, China.

Nepal is represented in the championship by Ms. Swastika Chaudhary, along with two male athletes, Mr. Tenzing Bertin Rai and Mr. Ronak Upreti. All three athletes will compete in the Boulder and Lead climbing disciplines.

This prestigious championship also serves as a qualification round for the upcoming 20th Asian Games, which will be held in Aichi–Nagoya, Japan.

The participation of Nepali athletes in this international event marks another significant step forward for the development and recognition of sport climbing in Nepal.
