Samatra Trading Pvt. Ltd. Signs Direct Sponsorship Agreements with 2026 National Sport Climbing Champions

Ltd., the authorized distributor and representative of world-renowned climbing brands Black Diamond and La Sportiva in Nepal, has officially executed direct Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreements with 2026 National Sport Climbing Champions Ronak Upreti and Swastika Chaudhary. The agreements were facilitated and witnessed by the Nepal Climbing Sport Association (NCSA), the national governing body for sport climbing.

  • Full Set of Premium Gear: Under the one-year agreement, Samatra Trading Pvt. Ltd. will supply both athletes with a complete set of technical climbing equipment, including climbing shoes, harnesses, chalk bags, apparel, and technical accessories from Black Diamond and La Sportiva.

  • Role of NCSA: NCSA acts as the recommending authority and official witness to the agreement, evaluating and nominating top national athletes based on performance, discipline, and potential.

  • Fulfillment of National Championship Announcement: This signing formalizes the gear sponsorship commitment originally announced by CEO Sangge Sherpa during the National Sport Climbing Championship held on June 13, 2026, at the Kathmandu Sport Climbing Center.

  • Athlete Commitments: The national champions agree to utilize the sponsored gear responsibly during training sessions, national competitions, and international events while serving as positive brand ambassadors.
