Joint Agreement to Organize the Late Babu Chiri Sherpa Memorial Sport Climbing Competition 2024
The Nepal Climbing Sport Association (NCSA) and the Alpine Sports Association, INC, based in Elmhurst, New York, North America, have reached a significant agreement to jointly organize the “Late Babu Chiri Sherpa Memorial Sport Climbing Competition 2024.” This prestigious event will take place at the esteemed Crimpanzee Adventure Hub Pvt. Ltd in Boudha, which will serve as the co-host venue.
The agreement was signed on February 7, 2024, by Mr. Santosh Maden, General Secretary of NCSA, and Mr. Ngawang Nima Sherpa, President of Alpine Sports Association, INC, symbolizing the commitment of both organizations to collaborate in honoring the legacy of the legendary climber, Babu Chiri Sherpa.
Both association representatives discussed the “Late Babu Chiri Sherpa Memorial Sport Climbing Competition 2024,” which aims to commemorate the adventurous and excellent spirit embodied by Babu Chiri Sherpa while also advancing the sport of climbing on an international level. By uniting climbers from various backgrounds and regions, the competition endeavors to cultivate camaraderie, enhance skill levels, and nurture mutual respect within the climbing community.
