Farewell Ceremony for Team Nepal: Participation in the World Climbing Asia Championship 2026, Meishan, China & World Climbing Championship 2026, Keqiao, China

The Nepal Climbing Sports Association (NCSA) has officially bid farewell to its athletes who are set to represent Nepal in the Asian
Games qualification round.
The athletes will participate in the Asian Games qualification round in Meishan, China, through the World Climbing Asian
Championship (Boulder & Lead), scheduled from April 8–12, 2026.
The participating athletes include one female and two male climbers: Ms. Swastika Chaudhary, Mr. Tenzing Bertin Rai, and Mr.
Ronak Upreti.
A formal farewell program was organized at the National Sports Council of Nepal in the presence of NCSA officials. During the
program, the Member Secretary of the National Sports Council extended best wishes and conveyed his best of luck to the athletes
for their successful participation and qualification in the upcoming games.
Furthermore, following the qualification event, the same athletes will also participate in the World Climbing Series Keqiao 2026
(Boulder), scheduled to be held from May 1–3, 2026, in Keqiao, China. The team will return to Nepal after completing both
competitions.
NCSA expresses its confidence in the athletes and wishes them success in bringing pride to the nation.
